1956 Bel Air Sp Cpe with Power Pack
Numbers matching fully restored as stock.
265 ci V8 with 4-bbl, 3-speed on the column with overdrive, 4:11 rear
end.
Stock Calypso Creme & Grecian Gold exterior & yellow & black interior.
I've had the car for 10 years & it's always been covered & garaged. I
bought it at 86,000 miles. It now has 91,000 miles. It came from the
Oakland plant, was stored for many years, completely restored in
Sacramento in 1993, lived in Fairfield until 2008.
It's an old restoration but the car is solid. It starts right up & runs
like a sewing machine. The previous owner rebuilt the engine at 81,000.
I recently installed new Coker radials (wide whitewall simulated stock
bias-ply) plus a Poor Man's Power Steering idler arm. New Pitman arm,
too. The steering column was rebuilt this year. I've added a few more
improvements over the years while trying to keep it as stock as
possible.
Everything works but the Wonder Bar radio is sketchy. Beautiful lacquer
(no clear coat) paint and interior and there's no rust.
I've enjoyed the car the entire 10 years but it's time to get my other
favorite, a '62 Impala.
$52,500 or best offer.
